As I said about the burgundy skirt: Great fit, especially on my taller and fuller frame. As promised in the description, the shirring creates a nice full skirt. I can sport a vintage look at work without looking like I am in costume. I bought this skirt in every color and it's a staple of my workaday wardrobe.
I bought this swing skirt in Mustard to wear to work at a middle school. (Our colors are black and yellow.) I love how full it is—it is hard to find the pockets at times! The elastic waist is not as stretchy as it is in Retrolicious dresses, so be aware that if you are between sizes you may need to size up. I am not much into ironing, so I’m going to try to get some of the worst wrinkles out by tossing it into the dryer. I think it would be cute with a cropped t-shirt, but obviously I will not wear that to work. It looks great with a boatneck shirt tucked in. I think this will be a fun addition to my Friday spirit wear at work.
Absolutely love this color and the style! Paired it with my Janis Joplin tee and some chucks and looked Amazing!
I bought this skirt in the yellow and the tea. Kept the teal, but returned the yellow one. Yellow is just not my color. This is a very full skirt. Lots of volume. No need for a petticoat. It gives a very full silhouette.
