The best
Super comfortable dress, very flattering with some stretch. I love the gold detail on the books. It gives it a special touch. Perfect midi length. I love to layer with a blouse under to hide my arms:D fits true to size. I am 36 C bust 30” waist and the medium fits perfectly. I would definitely recommend this dress and style to everyone!

Gorgeous print & lightweight cotton material
Very flattering cut! I am 5'4 & it hits at the knees, so the length is perfect for me. I ordered a medium since I'm planning to wear to wear tops underneath the dress like in the product photos. What worked out even better is that the material is a lightweight cotton & the dress is unlined, so this also leaves room for a slip in cooler weather. The dimensions don't fit me 100%, though, which is why I knocked off a star. I am a solid 36-37 bust (36C) & my girls were smashed a bit in the medium even though the waist fit perfectly. The large size's dimensions in the bust are a better match but then the waist wouldn't fit since my natural waist is 27" & yes, this dress hits at your natural waist right below your rib cage. The print is rich & looks three dimensional. And as a teacher, the books are right up my alley...

Fun, quirky and office friendly
Love this dress! Fit was a tad large, but overall was very flattering and well made. I received so many compliments when I wore into the office. Was compared to Ms. Frizzle which I loved lol. Great purchase. Also love pockets!!

The Dress of My Dreams
I came upon this beautiful piece while browsing my Instagram feed one day--I have been an avid reader my whole life, own over 1,200 books, and I just knew I *had* to have it. Imagine my disappointment when I found out that my size, medium, was out of stock! Let me just say I religiously checked the Retrolicious website every day hoping it would be back in stock. When it finally was? I added to my cart and checked out so fast, I couldn't believe my speed. This dress is my dream come true! I plan on wearing it everywhere, always, to show my love of literature. The print is vibrant and detailed, and some of the spines of the books have lovely golden foiling on them which makes it extra special and magical. Overall, I would give this a hundred stars if I could, and if you are wondering if you need it in your wardrobe, the answer is a resounding yes.

Just in case you’re wondering: yes, a librarian definitely saw this and had to have it! The book spines in the fabric are even printed in shiny gold lettering for that extra little antique book flair! And who doesn’t love a dress with pockets?
